Posted on July 11, 2012 at 8:20 pm

The comprehensive management plan and environmental assessment for the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail is now complete. The plan will guide development and management of the trail for the next 15 to 20 years. Thank you for your participation in  the planning process — your input at public meetings, your careful review of planning efforts in your neighborhoods, and for your comments and suggestions. The trail highlights your local places significant to the War of 1812 in the Chesapeake.

Looks like talks are taking place to help develop the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail.

Pacific Northwest Trail Association

Had a great meeting yesterday with WA State Parks and the Jefferson Trails Coalition discussing the route of the PNNST (and ODT) through Anderson Lake State Park in Jefferson County. As most people are aware, the PNNST and ODT share the Trail though Jefferson County andwill, at least through Anderson Lake. We look forward to a great partnership to achieving our common goals.

Happy Anniversary! On June 12, 2012, CDTC Founding Board Members signed our articles of Incorporation and filed with the State of Colorado to become an official organization. We can not believe all that we have achieved in just one year, but we are delighted to have you all along for the journey! We will celebrate with a toast to all of you on this glorious day, and maybe, just maybe we'll sneak a hike out on the Trail!
